Vegan, simple and hearty. Winning combo! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Usually it is made with Swiss Chard but since we always have lots of Kale in our vegetable garden let us present to you: Fattoria San Donato kale and chickpea Cacciucco. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spoons ready, dig in and make sure you trow in a glass &#8211; or two &#8211; of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fattoriasandonato.it\/it\/shop\/wine\/white-wine\/bianco-toscano-igt-bag-in-box-copy\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.fattoriasandonato.it\/it\/shop\/wine\/white-wine\/bianco-toscano-igt-bag-in-box-copy\/\">Toscana IGT Rosso<\/a> in the between! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sandonato.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/shooting-9-769x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10688\" width=\"472\" height=\"629\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sandonato.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/shooting-9-769x1024.jpg 769w, https:\/\/sandonato.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/shooting-9-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/sandonato.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/shooting-9-768x1023.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sandonato.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/shooting-9-1153x1536.jpg 1153w, https:\/\/sandonato.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/shooting-9-1538x2048.jpg 1538w, https:\/\/sandonato.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/shooting-9-600x799.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 472px) 100vw, 472px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignfull has-text-color has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"background-color:#ffffff;color:#000000\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fattoriasandonato.it\/it\/shop\/olio\/olio-extravergine-di-oliva-biologico\/\">Extra virgin olive oil<\/a><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, &quot;Segoe UI&quot;, Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, sans-serif;\">half an onion <\/span><\/li><li>1 carrot <\/li><li>1 Stick of celery<\/li><li>1 clove of garlic <\/li><li>400 g of peeled tomatoes<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>500 g of good quality precooked chickpeas<\/li><li>300 g of Kale<\/li><li>Salt and Black pepper<\/li><li>Rosmary <\/li><li>Oreganon<\/li><li>Parmesan and pecorino romano<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">In a pan and on medium heath, put the extra virgin olive oil, the chopped onion, carrots, celery, the whole garlic and the rosemary and gently fry while stirring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add you tomatoes to the soffritto <meta charset=\"utf-8\">and season with salt and pepper, and oreganon. Cook for around 10 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">In the meantime wash and separate the kale from its stems, then add it to the tomato sauce. Add a little boiling water or broth if you have some, and keep on stirring. <br><strong>NB<\/strong> In any serious kithen there should always be a pot of broth boiling. The steps are easy carrot, celery and onion in a large pot of water, bring to boil and voil\u00e0: yu have your broth ;). Trust us, it really makes everything taste better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cook for 5-10 minutes and then add your chickpeas.<br>Cook while stirring every once in a while, for about half an hour, adding more water when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Taste test, season if needed and once the kale is cooked &#8211; withouth having lost it&#8217;s cruch, and the sauce has thickens, you have your Cacciucco! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Toast the slices of bread, place them on your serving plate and pour 2\/3 ladles of chickpea cacciucco on top of the bread.
