Eco Tourism

We believe, practice and promote an organic, earth-friendly and green agriculture and tourism. In San Donato we created green spaces for a separate waste collection. We promote alternative method of travel that do not have to involve the car to travel and discover Tuscany. In San Donato you will be surrounded by nature and there is nothing better than discovering it by opting for slow and eco-friendly options: on foot, by bike or on horseback. We are in a strategic position for beautiful nature paths, such as the Natural Reserve of Castelvecchio and only one Km away from one of the main route of Via Francigena, on the branch that goes to Volterra. The green choice of transportation is a win win. Easy to make happen: you can walk, you can rent the bikes in San Gimignano or opt for an horse back ride at our neighbours (1km away) in Voltrona. Further, not only will you respect the environment but you’ll also have the opportunity to fully appreciate and discover all the colours and scents of the Tuscan countryside.
