By car:

From the north of Italy:

Take the A1 motorway southbound and exit at Firenze Impruneta. From the roundabout, take the Firenze-Siena highway towards Siena and exit at Poggibonsi Nord. Follow the signs for San Gimignano for about 11 km and, once you arrive at the roundabout at the entrance to San Gimignano, turn left towards Volterra, Castelsangimignano, Racciano. Continue on the SP47 provincial road for about 4.2 km. Turn left at the Fattoria San Donato sign.

From the south:

Take the A1 motorway heading north and exit at Valdichiana. Follow the directions for Siena. From there, take the Siena-Florence highway towards Florence. Exit at Colle di val d’Elsa Sud or at Poggibonsi Nord and follow the signs for San Gimignano. Once you arrive at the roundabout at the entrance to San Gimignano, turn left towards Volterra, Castelsangimignano, Racciano. Continue on the SP47 provincial road for about 4.2 km. Turn left at the Fattoria San Donato sign.

By train:

Nearest train station: Poggibonsi-San Gimignano. To reach us take a bus (the bus stop is directl in front of the train station in Piazza Mazzini) to San Gimignano and then a taxi to San Donato. 

By bus:

The nearest bus stop is San Gimignano-Strada. The buses (usually leaving from Poggibonsi or Siena) also stop in the city centre where it is easier to find a taxi.

By plane:

The closest airports are those of Florence-Peretola and Pisa – Galileo Galilei. Once you arrive, the best solution is to rent a car. Otherwise, it is necessary to arrive at the train stations of Florence and Pisa and then take a train to Poggibonsi. You can then take the bus to San Gimignano and lastly a taxi to Fattoria San Donato.
